I was so gutted when this dress sold out before I had chance to buy it from the Monki website. However I found it on Ebay last week and managed to get it for £8.00+2.50 postage. I'm so happy with it, I love the cute heart print detail and the length is just perfect.

* My first day at work went well, the people are all REALLY lovely. I still haven't mastered pulling a pint without getting a massive head and then overflowing, but i'll get there. I'm not back in until next Saturday so I now have 7 days off. Oh and I have to wear tiny little dungarees :( not entirely flatting on me!! but apart from that i'm loving the job.

* I have created a little clickable button on the left-hand side of my blog for my ebay page, i'll be adding items there again from tomorrow.. including my Topshop Ambush boots (size 4). So let me know if any of you are interested in those? :) I need money for uni so very very badly..ha.

* I found this oversized shirt in my local charity shop, the ones in Bourne are really good. I brought this along with a few other items, including a really cute picnic basket for £1.00. I just love how long this shirt is, this means I can wear it oversized over jeans or leggins or as a dress. The possibilities are endless!
The blouse is a real staple in my wardrobe and I think you'll be seeing alot of it in my blog. It just looks great layered under everything but just as good worn tucked into a skirt or worn over leggings.

Hey guys,

I've literally been trying to upload these photos all night :( photobucket hates me tonight!!

This outfit is what I wore today, all from charity shops.. however the skirt is originally from New Look. I was drawn to the pretty floral print and it was only £3.00.. bargain!! I really love the texture of the top, which is really oversized but gives it a batwing look. There's not shoes in this picture as I was caught out in the rain and my shoes were wet. Today my photos were taken in my new bedroom, since moving i'm still trying to find a good spot for taking outfit photos. Were really overlooked in our garden so I feel really awkward taking photos out there!! am I being silly? Anyway I think this setting will be ideal for when the weather is crappy.

I'm going to upload my London photos tomorrow, I had such an amazing time.. London was buzzing. I managed to see a couple of public events, the open water swimming on the Serpentine and the mens marathon. The atmosphere was just amazing and I have never been so proud to be British.

Other hightlights were wandering around Brixton, Borough Market, watching the olympics on the big screen near tower bridge and finding a pop-up bar on the top floor of a multi-storey carpark. I'll tell you more tomorrow when the pictures are up :)

ENDLESS SUMMER NIGHTS

Hey guys,

Summer is here :) I actually managed to dry some clothes on the line.. YEY. This is what I wore to potter around town in the sunshine :) i've also taken about 200 pictures which I need to go through and edit for Ebay, so i'll keep you all posted on those. I also need to try and sell my running machine, ahhh so much to do before I move a week on Sunday.

Right, i've got 200 photos to pick through and edit/delete..hopefully they'll start going up on Ebay tomorrow :)

THE THRIFTED OUTFIT

I managed to get outside and take these when it was lovely and sunny earlier, the weather has now taken a turn for worse... possibly because it knew i'd hung some washing out.

This outfit completey consits of items brought from my local chairy shops. The blouse is a firm favourite with me, I love its cute collar.. it also looks great layered undernearth jumpers and cost me £3.00. My skirt is actually a vintage underslip, I think its too pretty to hide under clothing. What do you think? its not sheer at all and I love the detailing on the bottom this cost £1.00. The shoes are originally from Topshop and cost me £3.50, they are practically unworn and so comfortable. I don't think this is a bad outfit considering in total it cost me £7.50 and was the ideal outfit for wondering around town (well before it rained). I didn't realise how bad my hair looked.. I swear it wasn't as bad in person..hehe. Anyway its about the clothes isn't it!?

I'm finding that knowing i'm moving in 2 weeks is making me feel so nesty.. i'm spending so long on the computer searching for homewares. This is the first home where me and my boyfriend get to pick everything and style the house ourselves.. our current house is my boyfriends mums, so everything is hers. Do any of you know of any websites that sell really nice reasonably priced homewares? I just want to get into our new home and start painting and making it perfect. Although once we've settled in it'll nearly be time for me to head back off to uni.. then I need to sort that house out as well..hehe. Oh so many things to buy and so little money to buy them with, I can see carboot sales being my saviour.. their great for picking up vintage furniture.

I'll be putting Ebay items up over the next couple of days so i'll let you know when there up :) I need money for my house.. i'm even selling my running machine :( but needs must and all that!
